August 8, 2018

12:02 p.m. Female reported a suspicious vehicle with an individual taking pictures of a neighbor’s residence; vehicle also followed a juvenile to a school; Undersheriff responded to the call; individual found to be an appraiser and all was okay.

12:48 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who keeps passing out at a local residence; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

2:55 p.m. 911s received reporting several little grass fires along Hwy 2, east of Saco; one was near a structure; Saco FD responded to the call; Hinsdale FD also responded to the call; fires later controlled and extinguished.

5:18 p.m. Dodson FD reported two fires started by a train going through and had them under control.

7:40 p.m. Female reported a missing dog.

8:12 p.m. Local wrecker company reported a disabled vehicle on Hwy 2, east of the Wagner turnoff and it would be removed the following day.

8:33 p.m. Deputy reported a water leak near the Malta City pool building; City employee handled the call.

10:06 p.m. Female requested a male be removed from her residence in Dodson; 911 received reporting a possible domestic situation at this same residence; Deputies responded to the call; male left on his own accord; case file started.

August 9, 2018

12:50 a.m. 911 received reporting the caller had been followed home to her residence on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

11:29 a.m. Male reported an erratic driver on Hwy 2, near Saco; caller advised the vehicle almost caused an accident while passing with oncoming traffic; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised.

6:20 p.m. 911 received reporting a possible domestic situation at a residence in south Phillips Co; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

10:06 p.m. Local business requested juveniles be advised to not ride bicycles on their sidewalks; Deputy responded to the call; juveniles located and advised.

10:12 p.m. 911 received reporting an individual lighting fireworks “somewhere between the DY and Landusky”; information passed onto Deputies.

10:18 p.m. 911 received reporting a fire near the Little Rockies Christian Camp; Zortman

August 10, 2018

1:54 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance getting to her residence; individuals were making her uneasy; Deputy handled the call.

3:02 a.m. Excessive Heat Warning now in effect from noon-9pm today.

3:50 a.m. Excessive Heat Warning now in effect from noon-9pm today.

6:47 a.m. Female reported a deer in her yard “just lying there”; Deputy responded to the call; deer found to have been shot; local Fish & Game Warden handled the call.

2:44 p.m. Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9pm.

5:09 p.m. Male reported a power outage in a residential area in Malta; information passed onto NorthWestern Energy.

Several more calls reporting the same power outage; callers advised NorthWestern Energy was responding.

6:00 p.m. Deputy received a report of an unwanted patron at a local business; male located and advised to not come back to the business as he was not welcome there anymore.

8:19 p.m. Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9pm.

9:22 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 2, west of Dodson; no injuries to the occupants; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

August 11, 2018

12:31 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to the Glasgow Hospital; local EMT Crew handled the call.

3:07 a.m. Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9pm tonight.

10:13 a.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Stacy McCrea, into PCSO Jail to serve time on another jurisdiction’s sentencing.

10:22 a.m. 911s received reporting a fire near Beaver Creek in the Little Rockies; Ft Belknap FD, Zortman FD and BLM Fire Crew responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

1:03 p.m. Reserve Deputy removed debris from Hwy 2.

1:51 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported a disabled vehicle off of Hwy 2 near the PC Fairgrounds and was waiting for help to arrive.

2:47 p.m. 911 received needing Havre PD; call transfer to Havre PD.

2:53 p.m. Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9pm tonight and in effect from noon to 9pm Sunday.

6:57 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

8:39 p.m. Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect from noon to 9pm Sunday.

9:07 p.m. Male reported an “open campfire at Nelson Reservoir”; caller advised there is no fire restrictions at this time for Phillips Co.

9:10 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

11:45 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Saco area.

August 12, 2018

12:49 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

2:54 a.m. Male reported hearing gunshots to the south of his residence; Deputies responded to the call; found to possibly be a large tree that split and hit the ground.

10:00 a.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Stacy McCrea, from PCSO Jail on time served.

11:22 a.m. Female reported a vehicle dragging a chain on Hwy 2, westbound from Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located in Phillips Co; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

.3:46 p.m. Female reported a trailer with a blown tire and it was smoking, on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and was stopped, driver was changing the tire.

9:24 p.m. Female reported loud noises coming from a neighbor’s residence; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, just individuals talking loudly.

August 13, 2018

1:24 a.m. Local business reported intoxicated individuals sitting in their vehicle, in the business’ parking lot, with no place to go; Deputy responded to the call; all motels were full and individuals advised would have to stay in their vehicle for the night.

1:33 a.m. 911 received requesting an individual be removed from a Dodson residence; Deputy responded to the call; male removed from the location and taken to another residence.

2:05 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

2:44 a.m. Lifeline requested an ambulance at a Saco residence for a female who fell; Saco EMT Crew advised of the call; Lifeline canceled the request shortly after as a family member had been located and female was okay.

10:10 a.m. Male filed a written complaint regarding damage to property on top of his business; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

12:26 p.m. Female reported the smell of drugs coming from a neighbor’s apartment; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay.

12:35 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Alex Nast, from Valley Co Detention Center back to Phillips Co to be released on time served.

4:39 p.m. Male reported a vehicle parked in the middle of the street, with no one around, in the downtown area; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle later towed to a local business for repair.

5:11 p.m. Local business reported a vehicle and trailer “parallel parked” in an angle parking area; Undersheriff handled the call.

5:28 p.m. Child Abuse Hotline requested PCSO assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:30 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew responded to the call.

8:25 p.m. Anonymous reported barking dogs in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet in the reported area.

9:05 p.m. Male reported a suspicious vehicle off of Hwy 2, west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, driver was just resting.

10:34 p.m. Male reported hitting a deer in Valley Co and was advised by their Deputy to get a white form here; white form issued.

August 14, 2018

11:17 a.m. Male reported a vehicle hauling branches and was losing branches all over the roadway; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised.

1:13 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who keeps passing out; female just had a major surgery; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

1:49 p.m. Female reported receiving a prank call from the PCSO phone number.

2:36 p.m. Female reported loud noises coming from a neighbor’s residence; Sheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay, just individuals talking loudly.

7:06 p.m. Male reported an overdue juvenile coming home from football practice; Deputy responded to the call; juvenile later returned home and was okay.

8:44 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

August 15, 2018

12:53 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

9:54 a.m. BNSF Police reported a rear engine fire west of Dodson on the Savoy Road; Malta and Dodson FDs responded to the call; fire contained and extinguished.

10:11 a.m. Female reported an abandoned vehicle in their pasture off of Hwy 191 south of Zortman; Undersheriff responded to the call; Ft Belknap Officer assisted in locating the owner; owner advised to remove the vehicle or it may be towed at their expense.

10:58 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with an on-going situation involving a deceased family member’s property at a residence west of Malta; Deputy handled the call.

2:50 p.m. Male reported a possible theft of identity; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:35 p.m. Male reported someone “spinning broadies on an ATV” in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; juvenile driver located and advised to go and park it.
