On Wednesday, September 5, Madelyn Anderson and Margo Rush captured first place. Mary LaFond and Billie Rae Maxie came in second.

Whist

On September 4, Barb Stevens netted 49 points for first place, Buck Taylor notched 46 for second and the traveling prize was awarded to Jerry Depute.

Hi-Line Whist

On September 6, Clair Waters tallied 6,180 to take first place, Ron Lundman had 6,080 to take second and the traveling prize went to both Malcolm Clouse and Von Holzhey.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, August 28, Pearl and Agnes defeated Jackie and Lois, 13-8.

“We set them once too often,” Pearl reports.

On Friday, August 31, Lois and Agnes took two out of three over Pearl and Jackie (6-15, 13-0 and 15-7) to rule the day.

“Great we were and then came that little skunk and smelled us out,” Pearl said. “Phew! Next time’s a’ coming."

On Tuesday, September 4, Pearl and Jackie won the first contest 14-8 and Lois and Delores won the second, 16-10.

On Friday, September 7, Jackie and Agnes defeated Delores and Lois 15-1 and 14-1, and in the last game of the week, Pearl and Jackie beat Delores and Lois 15-9.

"The cards really liked us," Pearl reported. "They will get us next time."
