August 27 2018

7:41p.m. Male reported a disabled bus on Hwy 2, west of Malta, and was requesting law enforcement assistance for traffic control; Deputy responded to the call; one bus limped into Malta and a second continued on its way; occupants of the bus stayed at a local motel until their bus could be repaired.

9:13p.m. Local MHP Trooper reported to the Big Sandy area for a vehicle crash.

9:54p.m. Male reported a missing family member; Deputies and local Border Patrol Agent responded to the call; male later located; coroner case file started.

August 26, 2018

12:44a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who had fallen; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

1:03a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

8:53a.m. Local Ambulance reported to the Milk River Pavilion for the Boots and Saddles Rodeo.

6:55p.m. Male reported livestock had been possibly shot; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

August 27, 2018

5:17a.m. 911 received reporting an injured deer in the middle of Hwy 2, west of Malta; deer was causing a traffic hazard; Undersheriff responded to the call; deer located off of the Hwy and was deceased.

9:54a.m. Male reported fraudulent use of a credit card; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

2:05p.m. Undersheriff transported one adult male, Russell Houle, from Hill Co Detention Center to PCSO to be incarcerated on a PCSO warrant.

4:36p.m. PC Hospital reported several individuals with injuries from a vehicle accident at the hospital; Deputy and MHP Trooper responded to the call; case file started.

August 28, 2018

1:22a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

6:25a.m. Male reported an individual sleeping on BNSF property near Saco; Undersheriff responded to the call; male transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Trespassing charges; case file started.

8:07a.m. Female reported damage to a vehicle; male later reported damage to his semi truck; Undersheriff responded to the both calls as they were related; case file started.

9:55a.m. Dropped 911 received from a local residence; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay.

11:46a.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

2:17p.m. Male reported a suspicious vehicle at Trafton Park; Sheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and all was ok.

3:13p.m. 911 received reporting a motorcycle/deer accident on Route 66; Sheriff, local EMT Crew and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; one patient transported to the PC Hospital; case file started.

Several more calls & 911s received reporting the above accident; callers all advised emergency responders were enroute.

4:36p.m. Local MHP Trooper requested a tow truck for the motorcycle involved in the above crash; local rotational wrecker service responded to the call.

5:15p.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Garren Kirkwood, in PCSO Jail to serve time on 2 PCSO warrants.

7:43p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a male’s unwanted attention; Deputy handled the call.

9:26p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:52p.m. Female reported a male at an apartment complex that was not supposed to be there; Deputy responded to the call; male left on his own accord without further incident.

August 29, 2018

2:10a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

8:01a.m. Local Ambulance reported to Hi Line Retirement Center for a patient transport to the Havre Hospital; patient transported back to the Hi Line Retirement Center.

9:08a.m. Female reported an erratic vehicle on Hwy 191 north; vehicle forced her off the Hwy; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

10:18a.m. Male reported another male trespassing on his property in Zortman; Undersheriff handled the call.

2:44p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10am to 6pm Thursday.

5:35p.m. Female reported tree branches on Hwy 191 by the Tin Cup; branches later removed.

6:35p.m. Deputy served two local warrants on one adult female, Elisha Turcotte; female later transported to PCSO to be incarcerated on those charges.

8:11p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a family member; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

August 30, 2018

3:25 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10am to 6pm tonight.

8:07 a.m. Female reported a dog chasing kids on their bikes; ACO handled the call.

2:58 p.m. Deputy released one adult female, Elisha Turcotte, from PCSO Jail on own recognizance.

8:42 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/deer accident, west of Malta, on Hwy 2; vehicle was disabled; Deputy responded to the call; case file started; local rotational wrecker service responded to the call and removed the vehicle.

10:41 p.m. Male reported a dead deer on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy responded to the call and removed the deer.

August 31, 2018

8:47 a.m. Female reported an elderly female driving on the wrong side of a residential street this morning; Deputy handled the call.

9:58 a.m. Female reported damage to a building on her property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

2:02 p.m. Female reported trespassers to her property; Deputy responded to the call; information added to existing case file.

3:00 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Russell Houle, from PCSO Jail on time served.

3:07 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 8am-8pm Saturday.

4:21 p.m. Male reported individuals continuing to trespass on his property; Deputy handled the call.

5:28 p.m. Female reported another female who was intoxicated at a local tavern; caller advised the female needed a hotel room; Deputy responded to the call.

11:17 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed security checks in the Saco area.

September 1, 2018

12:48 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo and Saco areas.

3:32 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 8am-8pm today.

5:35 a.m. Western States Alarm reported two alarms sounding at a local business; calls later canceled as all was okay, just false alarms.

9:11 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8pm.

9:45 a.m. Local Ambulance and FD reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races.

10:27 a.m. Female reported a missing dog.

10:31 a.m. Western States Alarm reported a fire alarm sounding at a local business; call later canceled as all was okay, just a false alarm.

11:23 a.m. Local business manager requested assistance with an abandoned vehicle on the property and suspicious items inside the vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:29 p.m. Blaine Co SO received a report of a fire off of Hwy 2, west of Dodson; fire found to be on the reservation; information passed onto Ft Belknap LE.

8:50 p.m. Central MT Dispatch received a report of a possibly missing hunter; male was hunting on the CMR and family had not heard from him; Deputy and CMR Officer responded to the call; case file started.

9:07 p.m. Male reported a vehicle driving without headlights on, on Short Oil Road; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised.

9:13 p.m. Female reported two missing dogs.

9:22 p.m. Male reported another male “doing burnouts in Trafton”; local MHP Trooper handled the call.

11:36 p.m. Female reported a vehicle had been abandoned at her residence, in south Phillips Co, for several days; Deputy responded to the call; registered owner not in the area; case file started.

September 2, 2018

1:17 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.

6:38 a.m. Sheriff, local MHP Trooper, Deputies and CMR Officers continued looking for the two missing males, via land, air and boat.

9:26 a.m. Local Ambulance and FD reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races.

9:40 a.m. Deputy received a report of an individual finding several hypodermic needles and scalpels in a box under the Milk River railroad bridge; needles later removed from the location by deputy.

12:00 p.m. Male reported a convoy headed east on Hwy 2 and the lead vehicle would cross into on-coming traffic to get the vehicles to slow down; information passed onto Deputy, Valley Co SO and MHP Dispatch.

1:16 p.m. Male reported his ex-wife continually drives by his residence; Deputy handled the call.

1:43 p.m. CMR Officer requested an airplane to assist with the search for the missing individual.

4:44 p.m. Female reported a grass fire along Frontage Road; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, was an unreported controlled burn and the individual put it out.

7:40 p.m. Male reported receiving threats on social media; Deputy handled the call.

10:16 p.m. Male reported kids running around on ATVs by the racetrack; Deputy responded to the call; several individuals confirmed no one was riding on ATVs/quads in that area recently.

11:02 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 6pm Monday until 6am Tuesday.

September 3, 2018

12:48 a.m. Border Patrol Agent received a report of a suspicious vehicle at a residence west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and individuals were just out on a country cruise.

3:18 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 6pm tonight until 6am Tuesday.

Continued search efforts throughout the day for the missing male in south Phillips Co by PCSO and several other agencies, along with family volunteers.

7:24 a.m. Local MHP Trooper flew to assist with looking for the missing individuals in south Phillips Co; Fergus Co Fish & Game Wardens also responded with their boat.

9:21 a.m. Local Ambulance and FD reported to the PCMS Dragstrip for the races.

9:31 a.m. 911 received reporting a fire south of Malta, off of Hwy 191; local Fire Dept responded to the call; found to be an old vehicle; fire contained and extinguished.

10:16 a.m. Female reported a stolen bicycle; Deputy handled the call.

11:00 a.m. Deputy reported to the downtown area to escort the Milk River Wagon Train into Malta for the parade.

2:12 p.m. Lewistown Fire Dispatch received a report of a fire, possibly in south Phillips Co; fire later found to be north of Winifred and the smoke could be seen from the DY Junction.

2:23 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 6pm tonight until 6am Tuesday.

2:28 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on a family member at a local residence; information passed onto Deputy; caller later reported family member had contacted her and was okay.

2:54 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 6pm tonight until 6am Tuesday.

2:36 p.m. 911 received reporting a previously reported missing person had been located on CMR; Deputy and CMR Officer responded to the call; coroner case file started.

2:57 p.m. Female reported seeing smoke south of Zortman; caller advised of the fire north of Winifred.

3:27 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle “throwing” items as the caller was passing the vehicle on Hwy 2, west of Malta; information passed onto MHP Dispatch.

4:03 p.m. Male requested an ambulance meet a personal vehicle transport, on Hwy 2 west of Dodson, of a juvenile who previously fell and now won’t stay awake; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

4:45 p.m. Male reported seeing smoke in south Phillips Co; caller didn’t know if it was on our side of the Missouri River or not; caller advised of fire north of Winifred.

5:53 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Glasgow; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:45 p.m. Two males requested law enforcement assistance with being harassed by another male; Deputy responded to the call; information added to existing case file.

10:27 p.m. Female reported a family member being harassed; Deputy responded to the call; information added to existing case file.

September 4, 2018

3:06 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

Continued search efforts throughout the day for the missing male in south Phillips Co by PCSO and several other agencies, along with family volunteers.

9:56 a.m. Male reported a belly dump had just “sprayed his vehicle with gravel”, on Hwy 2, westbound; Sheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

10:21 a.m. 911 received reporting a personal vehicle transport of a male who severely cut fingers on CMR; callers were enroute to Lewistown; call transferred to Lewistown Central Dispatch.

3:44 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a tenant; Deputy advised reporting party needed to call the County Attorney for more assistance.

3:49 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the JV games.

4:14 p.m. Valley Co SO received a complaint regarding a Phillips Co vehicle driving all over Hwy 2, westbound from Glasgow; information passed onto Deputy; vehicle located and was parked.

Several calls received throughout the day requesting updates on the missing male in south Phillips Co; callers advised the search is still on-going and no new leads.

8:03 p.m. US Customs & Border Protection Officer requested PCSO assistance with a suspicious male that had been looking for a place to camp; Deputy handled the call.

8:49 p.m. Female reported receiving a phone call from a family member who had lost contact for several years; caller was very concerned about this call; caller advised to not answer and report it if the individual keeps calling.

9:28 p.m. Male reported a domestic situation at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay, situation calmed down upon Deputy arrival.

September 5, 2018

6:19 a.m. Male reported a dead deer in the middle of Hwy 191 north; 2nd caller reported they moved the deer off the Hwy into the ditch but it was still alive; Deputy responded to the call and humanely euthanized the deer.

6:37 a.m. Male reported a semi truck and trailer speeding through Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was not speeding.

Continued search efforts throughout the day for the missing male in south Phillips Co by PCSO and several other agencies, along with family volunteers.

11:41 a.m. Female reported a cell phone scam and had already contacted her cell phone provider.

3:45 p.m. 911 received reporting a physical confrontation between two males at the old airport; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:02 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a vehicle that “was shooting on a gravel road”; Deputy handled the call.

8:44 p.m. Local MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop on Hwy 2, near the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:26 p.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Alfredo Chavez, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Driving While Suspended and No Insurance-3rd charges.

September 6, 2018

9:48 a.m. Female reported receiving counterfeit bills from a local business; Deputy responded to the call; business notified and bills removed from circulation.

10:28 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a cat that had been hit and a neighbor; Deputy handled the call.

Continued efforts to search for the missing male in south Phillips Co by PCSO, CMR and other volunteers; search dogs were brought in to assist as well.

3:04 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a fraudulent social media account; Deputy handled the call.

4:24 p.m. Male reported a break-in to his residence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

10:54 p.m. Female reported hearing gunshots in a residential area; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; all found to be quiet and no one in the area.

September 7, 2018

7:57 a.m. Female reported a vehicle driving erratically in the school areas; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located, and was parked, with no one around.

10:56 a.m. Female reported a vehicle driving all over the road, on Hwy 2 east of Malta; vehicle was northbound; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and stopped; driver was overly tired.

11:14 a.m. Child & Family Services requested PCSO assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy handled the call.

2:50 p.m. Juveniles reported a fender/bender at a school parking lot; vehicles had been removed from the area; Deputy responded to the call; white forms issued.

4:04 p.m. Local MHP Trooper requested CMR Officer assistance with a traffic stop on Hwy 191 south, on CMR; CMR Officer and K9 responded to the call.

4:53 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Alfredo Chavez, from PCSO Jail on time served.

5:09 p.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Leighton Heppner, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Driving While Suspended charges.

6:29 p.m. Female reported hearing a tree fall in the Trafton Park area; information passed onto City employee; tree did fall and it was off the main roadway.

6:36 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the game vs. Wolf Point.

8:20 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Leighton Heppner, from PCSO Jail on bond; Notice to Appear in Justice Court issued.

8:48 p.m. Female reported a React activity would be happening in Trafton Park from 930-midnight tonight.

9:59 p.m. Female reported a snake in front of her house; ACO handled the call.
