October 4, 2018

9:12 a.m. Male reported a vehicle that appeared to have been in an accident off of Hwy 191 north of Malta for several days; concerned someone might hit it as it wasn’t off of the Hwy; Sheriff responded to the call; vehicle located and was off of the fog line, later removed.

9:44 a.m. Female reported a credit card phone scam using the 654- prefix.

1:54 p.m. Female requested law enforcement to remove a female from one location as a family member had a protection order against said female and she was in violation of the order; Deputy responded to the call; female was found to not be in violation of the order.

3:05 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding a semi parked and making it hard to see around; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was not violating any laws.

3:53 p.m. Female requested law enforcement at a local apartment for a male who was intoxicated; Deputy handled the call.

4:47 p.m. CMR Officer requested a tow truck for a camper with a slide out; both local towing companies could not respond; Lewistown company handled the call.

5:55 p.m. Female reported a “strong smell of marijuana” coming from a neighbor’s apartment; Deputies responded to the call; occupant found to have a medical marijuana card; complex manager advised of the situation as well.

6:14 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting a vehicle belonging to a family member back from a male; Deputy handled the call.

6:24 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an unresponsive male at a local residence; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

6:50 p.m. Female received a report of a male hitchhiker near her residence in Dodson; caller was not at home; Deputy responded to the call; male not located.

6:53 p.m. Female requested law enforcement at her residence for an unwanted male that was there; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

7:10 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Dario Carrasco, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct charges.

8:33 p.m. Female reported individuals “yelling and shooting” near her residence south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; caller later reported the vehicle left the area and all was quiet now.

October 5, 2018

8:08 a.m. Male reported a dead deer in the driving lane on Hwy 191 north of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; deer located and was still alive; deer humanely euthanized by the Deputy.

9:41 a.m. Deputy reported a hitchhiker in the Malta area; not causing any problems at this time.

9:48 a.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the Middle School games.

6:07 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Dario Carrasco, from PCSO Jail on bond; male given a Notice to Appear in Justice Court.

6:35 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:54 p.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Eugenia Plummer, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a local warrant charge; female later released on bond and given a Notice to Appear in Justice Court.

7:17 p.m. Female reported a vehicle with individuals “yelling” at the caller’s kids playing outside; Deputy responded to the call; caller later reported it was a prank and all was okay.

7:45 p.m. Male reported a semi truck/moose accident on Hwy 2, west of Saco; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation employee; case file started.

7:55 p.m. Deputy requested a tow truck for the semi-truck and trailer involved in the moose accident; Glasgow wrecker company handled the call.

October 7, 2018

9:02 a.m. Male requested a Deputy for a civil standby for an on-going situation involving a deceased male’s property; Deputy handled the call.

9:28 a.m. Several calls received reporting a dead moose on Hwy 2, west of Saco; all callers advised it had been reported.

1:25 p.m. Male reported an injured kitten near the downtown area; information passed onto ACO.

2:57 p.m. Female reported another female had “yelled at her kids” and almost “slapped” one; Deputy handled the call.

6:17 p.m. Male reported damage to his fence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:49 p.m. Female reported a missing dog west of Saco.

10:54 p.m. Centralized Intake requested PCSO assistance with cross-reporting a situation involving juveniles; Deputy handled the call.

October 8, 2018

12:01 a.m. Female reported finding an injured dog on Hwy 2, west of Saco; owner located and the dog returned.

2:09 a.m. Centralized Intake requested PCSO assistance with cross reporting a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy handled the call.

6:23 a.m. Central Alarm reported a commercial burglar alarm sounding at a local business; Undersheriff and business manager responded to the call; all found to be okay, just a false alarm.

3:51 p.m. Female reported finding a Malta female’s wallet in Havre; owner contacted and wallet returned.

3:56 p.m. BNSF Police reported a crossing arm malfunction at the Larb Creek crossing and a maintainer was enroute to repair it.

6:51 p.m. Male reported a vehicle parked on his property and individuals hunting where they did not have permission to hunt; Deputy responded to the call; individuals located and situation taken care of without further incident.

6:53 p.m. Female reported a light on, on a Malta City lift station; information passed onto City employee.

7:03 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, east of Malta; all found to be okay, driver stopped to use the phone.

October 9, 2018

3:18 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon to 10pm today.

9:35 a.m. Individual traveling through the area requested assistance with finding warm clothing; individual advised of several places to find clothing.

4:26 p.m. Glasgow PD requested PCSO assistance with a female receiving possible threats from an ex-boyfriend; Deputy handled the call.

5:03 p.m. 911 received requesting mental health assistance for a female; Deputy handled the call.

7:01 p.m. Male reported a theft of a vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle later returned to the caller’s residence; female removed from the property for the night.

9:12 p.m. Female reported a vehicle without taillights on Hwy 2, westbound, towards Malta; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle located and driver knew about the lights; incident handled.

10:05 p.m. Male reported a vehicle/cow accident north of Saco; caller had left the scene already; white form issued.

10:13 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory has expired.

October 10, 2018

9:03 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a juvenile having a seizure at the Dodson School; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10:33 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a female and a vehicle; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

11:04 a.m. Malta City employee filed a written complaint regarding a homeless person staying in the shelter behind the Girl Scout house; Deputy responded to the call; female located and advised to move on.

11:59 a.m. Female reported an erratic vehicle on Central Ave; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and all was okay.

12:03 p.m. Male reported more traffic than normal in his residential area and requested more patrol in the area.

5:04 p.m. Female reported “seismographic equipment” left along Hwy 2, west of Dodson; had been there all day and no one around the area; information passed onto Deputies.

6:05 p.m. Female reported finding a dog that someone had hit and moved off of Short Oil Road; dog had a collar but no tags.

6:23 p.m. Male reported a Social Security phone scam.

11:33 p.m. Anonymous reported a possible situation involving a female and juveniles; Deputy handled the call.

October 11, 2018

9:07 a.m. Local Fire Dept reported to a local preschool for Fire Prevention Week.

12:18 p.m. Male reported a missing cell phone.

2:05 p.m. Male reported he was “stuck” on the CMR; caller given both local rotational wreckers information.

3:40 p.m. Ft Belknap LE received a traffic complaint about an eastbound vehicle almost causing an accident; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

3:59 p.m. Female reported vehicles speeding around Dodson right after school; Deputy handled the call.

October 12, 2018

6:28 a.m. Male reported “someone driving around his place at 5 a.m.” in the Zortman area; male couldn’t get a vehicle description; Deputy handled the call.

8:55 a.m. Local Fire Dept reported to the Malta Grade School and Headstart for Fire Prevention Week demonstrations.

11:37 a.m. Local MHP Trooper requested assistance from CMR Officer on a traffic stop south of the Missouri River Bridge; CMR Officer handled the call.

2:56 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 11pm tonight until 9pm Saturday.

3:27 p.m. Blaine Co Undersheriff reported two semi trucks and trailers hauling gravel “peppering” vehicles with gravel from their un-tarped loads; Hwy 2, east of Malta, headed into town; Deputy responded to the call; semis not located.

3:57 p.m. 911s received requesting assistance for a male “out of his mind” on 7 Mile Road going into Zortman; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; male located and all found to be okay, was not a harm to himself or anyone else.

4:26 p.m. Male reported a possibly stolen vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle later located by the owner.

4:31 p.m. Female reported a fraudulent check; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

4:38 p.m. Female reported “threats to her family” in the Dodson area; Deputies responded to the call; female advised there would be extra patrol in the area; suspect was not in Phillips Co at this time.

5:00 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a parenting plan; Deputies handled the call.

7:00 p.m. Local convenience store reported damage to a fuel pump; Deputies handled the call, case file started.
