40 preschoolers in local kindergarten ... Classes for the private kindergarten conducted by Mrs. George Knudsen at her home began on September 3, with a peak enrollment of 20 pupils in each of the daily sessions. The children may be five years of age by Oct. 31 to enter kindergarten. The influenza epidemic was abating. Two deaths had occurred during the week, Mrs. Dave Skinner and an 11-year-old girl from the Canadian line had died.
