One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News and Opinion for November 7, 2018

Here’s an invitation to all; Monday, November 12 at 2 p.m. there will be a Veteran’s Day program held at Whitewater School. Part of the program will be to honor the late Mickey Ivanovitch who passed recently. Mickey was Sally Austin’s younger brother and was raised in Whitewater. Mickey was in the National Guard and the US Marine Corp. At the celebration, there will be the flag and final salute to be made in his honor. Rest in Peace, Mickey.

Many ranchers in the area are now shipping cattle.

Sympathy to the victims of the shootings in the Jewish Synagogue. It is so horrible.

Farewell, and God bless to Pastor Wisher and family. They are going south for a while but they did purchase, move, and set up the second trailer so the Wishers will have a home set up for them when they return.

There was a great party for Connie and her new husband. It was at the Whitewater Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. The reception was well attended and featured a delicious brunch. Congrats to the newlyweds.

Jeanie Green went to Miles City to watch grandchildren play games.

Junior High basketball games are in full swing and good luck to the Whitewater teams.

Polka Sunday was held at Whitewater Lutheran Church and Mr. Engebretson, Nancy Murdock, and Pastor Nagy were the musicians. It was both great and inspiring.

Have a good week.

Helen A.
