Region 6 Citizen Advisory meeting in Havre Dec. 12

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ Region 6 Citizen Advisory Council (CAC) will meet from 12:45 p.m.-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the Best Western Plus (on the hill) conference room in Havre, for a special legislative meeting.

The meeting is open to the public, and state senators and representatives in the region have been invited as well. There will be both Helena and Region 6 FWP staff there to present material and answer questions. The main purpose of this meeting is for the Department to share with legislators and CAC members the legislative proposals that involve FWP, and to answer any questions on these or other related topics.

Starting at 12:45 p.m. will be introductions followed by a legislative presentation and an “open session” for questions and discussions.

Each of FWP’s seven administrative regions has a volunteer CAC to help guide policies and programs. The Region 6 group meets three times a year.

FWP ensures that its meetings are fully accessible to persons with disabilities. To request special accommodations for this meeting, please contact 406-228-3700.
