Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, November 27, Agnes and Pearl defeated Lois and Jackie by a 15-4 tally.

“We were just lucky to get good cards,” Pearl said.

On Friday, November 30, Pearl and Jackie defeated Agnes and Lois by a 19-6 score.

“This was a sleeper kind of game and we set them a lot, but we weren’t aware of it,” Pearl said. “We were surprised to score that much.”

There was no HL Whist on December 4, according to Pearl, because she "didn't want to freeze her footsies off" by walking to the Center for cards. The next regular scheduled card day, last Friday, was also postponed because of the frigidtemps in Malta.

"We pray we can all get together next week and that it gets warmer," Pearl said.

Malta Duplicate Bridge
