One Nation, Under God

Loring News for December 19, 2018

What a wonderful surprise for Debbie and Leroy Dyrdahl! In the past Debbie loved to decorate for Christmas but now her health won’t allow it. So Cindy and Dave. Clark saw a perfect tree for them and went in to put it up. If you get a chance stop by to say hi and admire the tree with its red ball and Linus' blanket! Definitely the reason to celebrate!

The Loring Woman’s Club had so much fellowship putting the trays together for some of our friends in the area. Then Carol Lumsden took most of them to town to deliver and the Simonson’s delivered the others! I met Carol in Malta and visited with Debbie Dyrdahl.

A chance meeting at the First State Bank with Jimmy Murdock, was a nice way to spend a few minutes! Then, Carol and Bill Smith joined us for a time. JWM and I both paid our pledge to the Boys and Girls Club!

Sally Austin called and told me that Colleen, a reader from California, would like me to print the 10 Commandments for teachers. I don’t remember them but I’m working on some. I’ll include those one of these weeks.

Kenny Clark hosted a great appreciation day at the North Country Repair with vats of chili and pull apart buns! Congrats on keeping the business going!

Loring Lutheran will hold services at 9 a.m. on Sunday and at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to everyone!
