NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Dodson will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dodson, located at 225 2nd Street E, for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for a public sewer project to include increasing operating depth in the storage lagoon, installation of UV disinfection equipment and valving and piping at the lagoon, obtain permit coverage as a batch discharger, and purchase and installation of a portable generator at the lift station. At the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding, and any costs that may impact local citizens as a result of the project. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project. Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019. A copy of the application to be submitted for funding the project is available for review at the Dodson Town Hall during regular office hours.
