One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for January 9, 2019

1-2. Wink and Terri Cole had lots of family here for Christmas. Matt and son Conner, came from Billings on Friday, followed by Heide and Cooper on Saturday. They all went to Steve and Tara Cole's house for Christmas Eve and later that evening, Jeff, Julie and Kaleb Cole came in from Great Falls where they had attended Melanie Green's wedding. All stayed for two nights except Jeff and Kaleb, who returned to Glasgow on Christmas Day. The rest stayed until Wednesday and returned to Billings that day. Julie stayed until Wednesday as well, as she had a meeting to attend in Malta.

Edward and Polly Solberg spent Christmas with Eva Bruckner in Malta. Vivian Bruckner brought in dinner which was well enjoyed.

Tammy Voise went to Boulder for Christmas with a cousin and was able to stay and visit for a few days.

Bill Henry came and took his mom, Dora, to Havre for a few days. She enjoyed the Christmas Eve service at Messiah Lutheran Church and then a late prime rib dinner at Jim and Lindsey Bennett's. It was nice to sit and visit, both sets of parents were there to help update everything.

Marilyn and Dora Henry had lunch with Karia Gerky on Thursday.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Greetings to all---have a good week!

1-9. . The weather hasn't made up its mind yet but skips around, cooler then warmer again. Sunday early morning was melting, a whopping 39 degrees early.

There was a community Pot Luck at the Whapatau Center on New Year's Day. Lot's of good food and socializing to welcome in the New Year. Nice to see some new people from the community there as everyone is acquainted with everyone else.

Polly Solberg has enjoyed taking in basketball games several days last week. She has enjoyed watching relatives playing in Malta games.

Don't forget the Town meeting on applying for grants to fix the wastewater system. It will be at the Catholic Social rooms, starting at 6 p.m. on January 10. Everyone's input is welcomed and important. Hope to see you all there.

Polly Solberg's grandson, Devon, won the section of his speech meets at Sidney this weekend.
