Programs dedicated to Veterans shine again in 2018

"Change for Veterans"

Started in late October and running through the end of November perhaps you noticed the containers placed around town at various businesses. The project was introduced and then spear-headed by Michelle Stevens to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 57. The containers were placed to encourage individuals to donate their "change" to make a "change for Veterans". The containers were prepared by Auxiliary members, the Juniors of the Auxiliary and community members. The "change" was to go toward assisting homeless Veterans and help make a change in their lives.
