This is to notify all interested parties that the PHILLIPS TRANSIT AUTHORITY is applying for $147,022.00 under the Montana Department of Transportation’s Operating Grant Program 5311. Funding will be used for operating expenses associated with providing transportation services to the general public, elderly and persons with disabilities within Phillips County.

PUBLIC NOTICE FOR CAPITAL ASSISTANCE

This is to notify all interested parties that PHILLIPS TRANSIT AUTHORITY is applying for $225,000.00 through the Capital Assistance Grant. The Capital Assistance Grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. FTA funds will be used to build a bus barn to shelter our fleet from the elements.

The Board of Oil and Gas Conservation of the State of Montana will hold its business meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the hearing room at its office at 2535 St. Johns Avenue in Billings, Montana. The agenda for that meeting is as follows:

RESPONDENT: RINCON OIL & GAS LLC – PHILLIPS COUNTY, MONTANA

Upon the Board’s own motion to require Rincon Oil & Gas LLC to appear and show cause, if any it has, why additional penalties should not be imposed for failure to file production reports and to pay the administrative penalty assessed for delinquent reporting. In accordance with Board policy the amount due now is $120.00. This docket will be dismissed if payment and reports are received prior to the hearing. Failure to appear at the Show Cause hearing or to make suitable arrangements prior to said hearing subjects Rincon Oil & Gas LLC to further penalties as prescribed by Board Policy.

INVITATION FOR BIDS

LEASE OF STATE LANDS

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, Ag & Grazing Management Bureau, P.O. Box 201601, Helena, Montana 59620-1601, through January 30, 2019 for a 10-year grazing lease on the following described lands in Phillips County.

Section 24, T33N, R30E: containing 40 acres of grazing land.

The minimum bid rate is $104.80 based on a grazing carrying capacity of 8 AUMS at a rate of $13.10 per AUM.

By law all bids in order to be considered valid must include a deposit in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or money order in the amount equal to 100% of the amount bid for grazing, plus a non-refundable lease application fee of $25.00. In order to be considered, all bids must be accom¬pa¬nied with a completed application to lease state lands.

The successful bidder must in addition to the rental, make settlement with the owner of the existing improvements on the land.

The State Board of Land Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
