Henry drops 41 in loss to Turner

January 30, 2019

The Dodson Lady Coyotes lost to the Turner Tornadoes on Friday, January 25, despite a 41 point effort from Lady Coyote Kailee Henry.

The mark was two points shy of her older sister Janessa Henry’s mark set on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. The difference was that Janessa’s high score was set against Harlem’s JV team, while Kailee’s 41 point game was a varsity game. Historians at Dodson High School are checking to see if K. Henry’s 41 points is a school record.

Dodson’s Ella Messerly had 11 points. Christina Jaynes had seven points, and Lindsay Fetter had two points.

The Lady Coyotes will face North Country on Thursday, January 31, in Whitewater. The team will then face Roy-Winifred Outlaws in Dodson on Friday, February 1. The Lady Coyotes are also scheduled to take on the Melstone Lady Broncs in Melstone on Saturday, February 2.
