Michael, Luna show art in Sidney

Malta's Carmen Luna and Judy Michael displayed art work in the 28th annual Miniature show at the MonDak Heritage Center in Sidney, Mont., starting in November of 2018 and concluding in January of this year.

Entries from the show were accepted from 16 US states and Australia and rules for a miniature show entry were that each piece entered be an original artwork no larger than 5x7" with a scale of 1/16 or less of the original subject matter.

Carmen's entry was a wood sculpture of a Sora Rail standing on lily pads mounted on a gate.

Judy had five paintings accepted into the show with one painting receiving a 2nd place ribbon. Her winning entry was a painting of an old barn in winter snow with a buggy in front entitled "Granddad's Buggy."

Carmen and Judy will be both displaying their art work in Spring shows around Montana including the Great Falls Walleye's Art Auction, Montana Seed Show in Harlem, and Western Art Week held in Great Falls in March.
