One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for February 20, 2019

Polly Solberg was in Malta on Tuesday checking on people and running errands

Condolences to the Kirkaldie and Nicholson families in the passing of Doris (Dan) Nicholson. Her services were on Saturday at Saint Mary's Church in Malta.

It snowed again on Wednesday with another good accumulation of snow in the ground. Then the wind blew from the East and for the first time, the snow drifted so we have some deep places now. A few have been getting stuck if they pulled over very much, but on Saturday and Sunday, someone was out plowing. Good work to them and thanks!!!

Wink Cole took Terri to the emergency room on Wednesday with chest pains and she was later flown to Billings, where they found she had several heart blocks and would have to have surgery. Her surgery is scheduled for February 28th. Steve Cole took Wink to Billings on Friday and they are staying at daughter Patty Vaughn's home until then. Steve was in Dodson on Saturday to check on everything.

Bill Henry picked his mom, Eldora, up on Tuesday to take her for tests that afternoon in Billings and she is scheduled to receive a new pacemaker on Wednesday. All this excitement of two of the Town ladies at the same time — must be the water — be careful!

That weatherman seems to have his head in a snowbank as he is predicting cold and snow for at least another week. Polly had a blue jay on her bird feeder, I had a woodpecker going up one of my trees this week and today saw several small birds flying around---haven't seen any all winter. Do you suppose they are scouts sent ahead

Greetings and congratulations to all having a birthday or anniversary this week.

The best and most beautiful things in the world can not be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.

Have a good one!
