Spring American Legion meeting to be at Saco

Mr. Richard Barnard, Commander of American Legion Post #79 in Saco, said today about 75 Legionnaires and members of the Auxiliary are expected to attend the Spring meeting of District # 2 on Saturday March 30, at the Saco School.

Mr. Barnard said there are about 600 Legionnaires in District No. 2. The Posts are located in Havre, Chinook, Big Sandy, Malta, Rocky Boy, Saco, Chester, Turner, and Fort Belknap.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the School, located at 321 State Hwy 243 in Saco. At 10 a.m. the Department program will begin.
