Middle School Grapplers in Lewistown

The Malta Middle School wrestlers competed in the Montana Middle School Championships in Lewistown last Saturday, March 2, despite subzero temperatures rocking Eastern Montana.

The weather was so cold that Malta Middle School canceled buses, leaving Malta with only four competitors. Two of four wrestlers placed at the event.

Spencer Gibbs took third place in the 140-weight class. Cameron Mikesell took fourth place in the 120-weight class. Former MMS wrestler Jace Oxarart took fifth in the 120 class, but he wrestles in Helena now.
