Maureen Kay Holman , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everall Holman, has been chosen as delegate to Girls State from Dodson High School. 1969.

100 years ago

March 11, 1919

Fred St. Hill and C.E. Secrest were candidates for re-election to the Malta School Board.


Two small children of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schumaker were burned to death in a farm home fire south of Malta. The children were two and four.


Harry Cosner was elected president and H.M. Kirton, secretary-treasurer of the Milk River Gun Club. On the board of directors were J.A. Tressler, Lon Ellis, and J.M. Brayton.


Pat Allery, Phillips County boy who lost his right arm in the Argonne, returned during the week.
