Kings crowned at annual pool tourney

The Kings of the Hi-Line team trophy may be the most elusive pool trophy in the Eastern part of Montana but this year, the spoils belong to the Mears Music team, who won three-day event by one point.

The event which features 18, four-person teams annually took place at taverns all around Malta from 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, through 6 p.m. Sunday, March 17. Three rounds were played on Friday until Midnight, ten rounds were played on Saturday, and four were played on Sunday. The top five teams and top ten individuals were paid cash prizes.
