Phillips County Museum opens its doors Monday, April 1, 2019. Monday-Saturday 10-5.

Men's Golf League

Notice to all interested Men’s League golfers. There will be an informational/planning meeting for the Marian Hills Men’s Golf League on April 4th at 6 p.m. at the Tin Cup. Election of officers and discussion of the upcoming season will be the topics. Any interested players are to sign up at the golf course or with Bob Galt, 654-2340.

New Disabled American Veterans Coordination (DAV)

PhillCo Economic Growth Council REM exercise

3-27. The PhillCo Economic Growth Council invites you to participate on Wednesday, March 27th in a Ripple Effects Mapping (REM) exercise and help map the history of what Malta and Phillips County has accomplished since our MEDA (Montana Economic Developers Association) Resource Assessment held in 2015. Noon to 2 p.m. at the GN Lodgeroom. More information in next week’s PCN.

Tri-County Farmers Mutual Insurance Annual Meeting

3-29. The annual meeting of Tri-County Farmers Mutual Insurance Company will be held on Friday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at the Great Northern Hotel. Policyholders are welcome to attend.

FREE Community CPR Class

3-31. A FREE Community CPR Class will be held at Blue Ridge Brewing, Sunday, March 31st from 1pm to 2pm. This is a HANDS ONLY class to help participants be prepared to respond in the event of cardiac arrest in adult, child, & infant populations. This class will NOT certify/recertify participants. Any questions please call the Phillips County Ambulance Service office at 406-654-2336.

Malta Kiwanis meeting

4-2. The Malta Kiwanis will meet on Tuesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. at Westside Restaurant. Remember: Kids Need Kiwanis and Kiwanis Needs You!

MHS Spring Play Dinner

4-2. The Culinary Arts classes at Malta High School are preparing a special dinner to be held in the Malta JR/SR High School Cafeteria before the Play on Tuesday, April 2. Tickets are $25 per couple and $15.00 for a single person. Hors D’oeuvres will begin at 5:45 p.m., Dinner will start at 6 p.m. and the play will start at 7 p.m. We will be serving a variety of appetizers, Chicken Piccata, Rice Pilaf, Roasted Vegetables, and a special dessert. Call Malta High School at 654-2002 to reserve your spot before March 29th.

Montana Veterans Affairs

4-11. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, April 11, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.
