One Nation, Under God

Loring News for April 10, 2019

Here we are starting the second week of April! We have had super warm temps this week, even the lows were above freezing! We just have a small snirty snow pile left. Snirty is a word I learned from Ivan Doig. It means dirt blown on a snow bank. A falcon was chasing a smaller bird and stopped to rest in our pine trees. He had a barred tail and the back was polka dotted. It was bigger than a kestrel and not as colorful. And I thought the snowy owl was gone to the northern climes already, but I saw one twice this week! Jeanie Green has picked a crocus already so spring is here!
