Jaynes, Wasson led teams in Havre

Though the Dodson Lady Coyotes and Whitewater Lady Penguins have less than a handful of athletes, both teams fared well in the Cal Wearley Memorial last Wednesday in Havre.

Whitewater took eighth in the Varsity event with 22 points. Dodson followed taking ninth with a total of 20 points.

Dodson’s Christina Jaynes set a new personal best of 35-00.50 on her way to winning the shot put event. Jaynes just missed out on qualifying for state, falling a high of an inch shy of the 35-1 mark.
