Lady Penguins fourth in Glasgow

The Whitewater Penguins Track teams fared well at the 2019 Scottie Qualifiers meet in Glasgow last Saturday, April 13.

The Lady Penguins took fourth with a total of 56 points. The Penguins who were represented by sophomore Beau Simonson took tenth with a total of four points.

“Overall the Penguins performed well and it helped that is was a smaller meet, less standing around and throwing events went quickly which meant the throwers stayed warm helping our throws stay consistent and see some improvement,” Whitewater Track Coach Charlene Wasson said.
