Daryl Munson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Munson, and Russell Crites, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Crites, were valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 1969 at Dodson High School. High school diplomas were awarded to Debbie Boothe, Ann Burroughs, Loren Burroughs, Sandy Bushy, Russell Crites, Bud Johnson, Jackie Johnson, Billie Lankford, Cathy Lindner, Daryl Munson, Pat Nordlund, Jackay Thackery, and Jim Tribby. Twenty cars of Malta businessmen and boys spent several hours improving roads leading into Malta. Rocks were removed, holes filled in, and weeds cut.
