He was born in the Sidney area to Dolly and Peter Stordahl, June 14, 1948. He attended school in Fairview before his family moved to Billings, Mont., where he completed his education.

Tom met Dixie Cowan in Billings and they married June 13, 1970, in Loring. When Dixie graduated from EMC, they moved to Whitewater, where Tom was employed as bus maintenance. He spent many years working with his father-in-law farming, doing carpentry, and trucking.

In 1999, Tom suffered a TBI and broken back. That is when he started honing his skills with

Woodworking. He made many pens, bowls, tables, benches, shelves, and toys. He took pride in caring for the yard at home and the farm for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie, sons, Rodney, from Loring, and David (Brandie) of Billings,

grandchildren, Brentton, Saige, Zoey, Rocco Stordahl, and Jacob Wilcox. Brother, Jim of Great Falls, sisters Beverly Haagenson, Billings, and Lila Birgenheier of Kansas, many nieces, and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Dolly Krieger, and Peter Stordahl, brothers, Robert and Richard. Tom's hands have finished his work and can now relax. He has smoked his last Swisher Sweet!
