Issues with motorists speeding down streets in Malta where children are often at play was an issue again discussed at the Malta City Council meeting, this time with a positive update.

Phillips County Sheriff Jerry Lytle told the Council last Tuesday in Malta that citations were issued to people speeding on 6th Street West and Malta Public Works Director Jim Truelove announced that more 15 miles per hour speed limit signs have been posted in the area.
