Coach Benn resigns as Malta teacher, xoah

Mr. Jim Benn has resigned as the head football coach and teacher at Malta Highs School, citing “(a decision) I felt that I must make for my family.” Mr. Benn has taken a job in Missoula.

Benn was the Mustangs football coach the past two seasons, leading the Mustangs to two consecutive playoff appearances.

The Malta School District is currently taking applications for the vacated coaching and teaching position.
