One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News and Opinion for June 19, 2019

Get well to all flu victims sick recently.

Hope you had a nice Father’s Day and you were able to spend it with your dad.

Taylor Hellie and children went to Nebraska to visit brothers and family. The children got to see the zoo there also.

The Whitewater Baptist Church almost has the work done on its new roof. The boys from Tennessee helping are Aaron Giddens and Lucas Ingram of Rockwood. They will go home soon. Godspeed to them.

Ashley Greene is the postmistress in Whitewater right now, in Barbara Brookie's absence.

There was also a baptism at Whitewater Lutheran Church on Saturday for two Nicholson children, I was unable to get their names.

Rana Jesson hosted a nice bridal shower for Miss Bishop, Jace Anderson‘s bride to be. Very nice. Congratulations to them.

Ashley and Rory Greene went to Billings for Ashley‘s family reunion last weekend. They had a nice visit with family.

The Fort Peck Summer Theatre is in full swing. I love the theatre. Would a group from Whitewater like to attend the theater on a Sunday in July? If so, call me at 674–5576 to obtain information on the Phillips Transit Authority, a ride to Fort Peck costs just $19 per person, round-trip ... that’s a very good deal.

It was a late spring here, but most farmers and gardeners have crops and garden seed in the ground. Now pray for rain.

It is a beautiful day here in Whitewater, not much wind either.

Have a good week.

Helen
