Students at Symposium

Dr. Ray Rogers, professor at MacAlister University in Minnesota, attended the Judith River Formation Symposium in Malta recently with 13 freshman and sophomore students. These young people attend many different universities, including, MacAlister, Smith, Amherst, Colorado, Pomona, Union, and Oberlin. All of the students are considering a geology or paleontology major and this trip will help them decide. The first week was spent in the lab at MacAlister and these next weeks will be spent in the field in Montana. Photo by Dixie Stordahl.
