TV District meeting

First Tuesday. Phillips County TV District has their TV Board Meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the P.C. Library basement meeting room. All are welcome.

Water Dirt Dauber Barrels

Attention business owners of the oak flower barrels: Dirt Daubers asks that you please water your flower barrels regularly. Pinch off any dead heads and dried-out flowers. Keep Malta beautiful! We thank you.

Malta Area Vacation Bible School

7-22-26. The Malta Area Vacation Bible School at Mustang football field will be July 22 – 26 from 9 a.m. to noon daily. Open for children ages 3 to entering 6th Grade. Sponsored by several local churches. The theme is “Jesus My Savior and Friend.”

E-Waste Day

7-27. The Malta First State Bank E-Waste Recycling day will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Ezzie’s Wholesale.

Loring Sunday Fun Day

7-28. Loring Sunday Fun Day will be held on Sunday, July 28 starting at 11 a.m. Salsbery brothers water slides and bounce house, Norwegian horse shoes, and pulled pork lunch. All will be available for a free will donation, all proceeds go to the Loring hall. Please come have a good time for a good cause. Bring a chair and a towel.

Local author book signing at Museum

7-30. The Phillips County Museum will be hosting local authors Helen DePuydt of Saco and B.J. Daniels (with her 100th book) for a free admission book signing on Tuesday, July 30 starting at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and the authors will have books for sale.

MRWT August Meeting

8-11. The final meeting of the Milk River Wagon Train before this summer’s event will be Sunday, August 11 at 3 p.m. at Trafton Park. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Knights of Columbus BBQ Competition

8-17. The 1st Annual Knights of Columbus BBQ Competition will be Saturday, August 17 and besides the competition, the day will include a Cornhole Tournament, Silent Auction, Team Calcutta, Vendors, Food and Drink, Door Prizes and raffles. Saco Stars & Stripes Talent Show

8-31. The Saco Chamber of Commerce will host the Stars & Stripes Talent Show on Saturday, August 31 at 3 p.m. at Miller Park. Patriotic Themed Acts Only, cash prizes, and the entry deadline is Wednesday, August 21. Only 20 acts accepted, no entry fee, so call 406-301-2034 or Email [email protected] for more information. Special Guest Entertainers throughout the evening. Tickets are $5 and children under 5 are free.
