Much of the hay barley has been swathed and huge bales are being dropped in the fields as the farmers store up the feed for winter use. To me, it looks like a great year, if the swathes can get baled before the wind blows the hay around or the rain hits it. The grain crops are starting to turn golden, won't be long now until those big combines are knocking down the grain and it'll be in storage granaries until needed.

I do enjoy the different colors of green that the crops show. The crop tour was held in the Loring area on Tuesday. It was well attended and the dinner in Loring Park was deli...
