Mr. and Mrs. George Tout arrived in the City. Mr. Tout, who has seen considerable service in the war, was to be employed in the Malta Call Office.

J.M. Brayton was in Malta preparing to move his family and household goods to Jamestown, N.D., where he had accepted a position.

William Newhouse of Wagner had been elected manager of the Farmers Elevator to replace Sam Winkenweider who resigned.

♣♣♣

Carloads of farmers from the dryland areas on the Hi-Line were en route to North Dakota to secure employment in the harvest fields.
