Last weekend Kelly and Seth Radtke and their three children, Kaida, Sylvie, and Corbin visited Wink and Terri Cole and took in the fair. Seth also painted their basement while they were here. The Radtkes are from Green River, Wyo.

Dora Henry's daughter, Cheryl Ames, of Laurel and two of her great-grandchildren, Willie and Jia Hood of Philadelphia visited Dora this week. Dora had not seen the kids for quite a while.

Dora Henry had cataract surgery on her eye this week in Havre. Polly Solberg drove her to Havre and Bill and Marilyn met them at the hospital.

Teresa Leys of Choteau and her three grandchildren, (Dora's great-grandkids), Keith and Kortni Wilson of Whitehall and Roper Leys of Choteau came on Thursday for a short visit with Dora and while here helped her with her yard.

The community was saddened to hear of the death of long-time sheep rancher from south of Dodson/Malta, Fred Itcaina, as he was being taken to Billings. Condolences are sent to family and friends.

Billings had a hard thunder, lightning and rain storm on Saturday followed by hail. Too bad for anyone harvesting.

Bill Henry stopped in at his mom Dora Henry's on Thursday on his way home. He had poured cement north of Saco.

Wink and Terri Cole had supper in Malta on Saturday with the Steve Cole family. A Korean menu was planned.

On Sunday early evening we again experienced loud thunder and lightning followed by a good shower. If anyone was harvesting it stopped that.

Birthday greetings go out to Tammy Voise and all others in the community celebrating a birthday.

Just over a week and school will be starting again and kids will be around more so drive carefully.

Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes alone!

Hope everyone has a good week!
