Part-time Early Childhood Screening Paraprofessional

Part-time Early Childhood Screening Paraprofessional to assist in screenings throughout the school year.

Requirements include high school diploma/equivalent, self-starter who enjoys working with preschool age children, attendance at all training sessions.

FULL-TIME DEPUTY SHERIFF

The Phillips County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications to create a hiring pool from which successful applicants will be chosen to fill vacancies. We currently have one opening for a FULL-TIME DEPUTY SHERIFF. Applications will be accepted until September 26, 2019.

Duties for a Deputy Sheriff include crime prevention, investigating crimes, traffic patrol, drug interdiction, among other law enforcement related duties. Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• Must be a United States citizen

• Must have a High School diploma or GED

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Montana Driver’s

License

• Must not have a felony conviction

• Must be of good moral character as determined by a

thorough background investigation

• Must pass medical and mental health evaluations

Possession of current P.O.S.T. Basic certification preferred but not necessary to apply. Within one year of hire, must be able to successfully complete the MLEA Basic course and receive P.O.S.T Basic certification. Applicants will be expected to travel to Malta MT for psychological testing as well as interviews.

Benefits include 100% premiums paid for medical insurance for employee and family, vacation/sick pay, and annual longevity pay increases. Starting wage is $18.40/hour with 5% increase upon completing one year of probation.
