Grief support group in Malta

A Grief support group will be starting in Malta on September 25 at the Senior Center and will continue on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Please call Tammy Hubany (920-572-0161) or Dianne Salsbery (406-654-4675) with any questions.

GPDM hours change

Great Plains Dinosaur Museum has a change of hours to Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closing for the season at the end of September.

Malta Trails Meeting

9-19. The Malta Trails Meeting will be held Thursday, September 19 at 6 p.m. at Stretch's. All are welcome.

Montana Veterans Affairs

9-19. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, September 19, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.

Austin Knudsen at the GN

9-19. Austin Knudsen, Republican running for Montana Attorney General, will have a meet and greet on Thursday, September 19, at 12 p.m. in the Lodge Room at the GN.

Ranch Profitability Workshops

9-20. Ranch Profitability Workshops will be September 20, October 22 and November 5, for FREE from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in Suite 4, Malta Business Center. The workshops are sponsored by Ranchers Stewardship Alliance. Call Paula at 654-1405, for more information.

Rock Painting for Suicide Prevention Awareness

9-20. Malta Boys & Girls Club invites families to a night of rock painting this Friday, September 20th, at 6:30 pm in the Art Room at the Club. The rocks will be painted with words of encouragement to be on dis-play at the Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk at Malta High School this Sunday, September 22nd at 1 p.m. People can pick up a rock after the walk and give to someone they know, or leave them in various places in our community and beyond. That’s Rock Painting for the Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk, this Friday night, at 6:30 p.m. at the Malta Boys & Girls Club. Please use the front doors 101 South 7th Street West.

PCMS Annual Dinner

9-21. Phillips County Motorsports will host their annual dinner and auction on Saturday, September 21 at Malta City Hall with a no-host social hour at 5:30 and dinner starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25.

4th Annual Phillips County Proud

9-21. The 4th Annual Phillips County Proud event will be held on Saturday, September 21 in the Lucky Bullet basement in Malta starting at 5:30 p.m. BBQ beef on bun dinner. NO admission charge, goodwill donations appreciated.

Informational Brake Clinic

9-26. There will be an informational break clinic held at Lloyd’s Auto Supply in Malta on Thursday, September 26 starting at 6 p.m. Refreshments provided and everyone welcome to attend.

Fair Rodeo Meeting

9-25. A P. C. Fair Rodeo Meeting will be Wednesday, September 25 at 6 p.m. in the Lucky Bullet basement. All are invited to help form a Rodeo Committee for Pro Rodeo at the Phillips County Fair in 2020. No host bar, snacks provided. Contact Richard Phillips at 406-794-5587.

Westside Self-Service Summer Block Party.

9-28. The Westside Self-Service End of Summer Bock Party will be Saturday, September 28 with the Kidz Dance starting at 6 p.m. and Adults Only Dance starting 9 p.m.

Mint Bar Thank You Feed

10-5. The Mint Bar will host a Thank You Feed on Saturday, October 5 starting at 6 p.m. in celebration of Susan taking over the bar’s ownership. See the advertisement in this week’s PCN.

Malta Food Bank Elections

10-8. The Malta Food Bank will hold elections for a board member position on October 8, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the Malta Senior Center.

Public Square Rosary

10-12. The Public Square Rosary Crusade and Rally will be held Saturday, October 12, at 12 p.m. at Front Street Veteran's Memorial Park. Please join us in praying for our nation.
