U of M to give free health screenings in Malta as part of wildfire study

University of Montana researchers, pharmacists, nursing students and physical therapy students will be coming to the Malta City Hall in Malta on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 1 and 2 to conduct free health screenings for all participants as part of a study on wildfire smoke and how it affects human lungs.
Each person tested will be able to take their results home with them. These screenings will be done in conjunction with the University of Montana’s School of Pharmacy and researchers looking at the health effects of wildfire smoke.
