Sympathy to victims of hurricanes; terrible. We should help them.

Get well wishes to Shirley Dunbar, Mr. Higgins, Andrea Lien, and Steve Young of Whitewater. Also to Lois Bruckner, my friend, of Malta.

P.C. Museum presented the Historic Walk. Pioneer Annie Dunbar was portrayed by Jeanie Green. Annie came to Montana from Scotland to Malta in 1911.

Some remaining grandchildren of Annie are Dixie Moore and family and also Shirley Dunbar and her family. Others are Margie Maloney and family of Great Falls, Mont. Families live on.

Here in Whitewater in September we had another rain, over an inch. Some are still not finished combining as grain is too wet.

Years ago, my sister and I helped “shock” the sheaves of wheat, or roots. We stood sheaves dry. I guess times have changed.
