Grief support group in Malta

GPDM closed for the season

The Great Plains Dinosaur Museum is now closed for the 2019 season. See you next year.

Malta VFW Auxiliary meeting

10-2. The Malta VFW Auxiliary meeting scheduled for October 9, has been rescheduled to October 2, 6 p.m. at the VFW Club. District President Vi Tharp will be attending this meeting. Please attend.

Sen. Tester’s Chief of Staff in Malta

10-3. U.S. Sen. Jon Tester's chief of staff will be in Malta on Thursday, October 3, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Phillips County Library basement.

Volunteer Fire Department Tailgate

10-4. The 3rd Annual P.C. Volunteer Fire Department Tailgate will be held Friday, October 4 at 5 p.m. in the Lucky Bullet.

Cub Scout sign-ups

10.5. Please join us for Cub Scout sign ups and an Arrow of Light Ceremony at the H.G. Robinson House Gardens Saturday, October 5 at 4 p.m. Come visit about the Scout program, sign up, and celebrate the Cubs advancements. Mint Bar Thank You Feed

10-5. The Mint Bar will host a Thank You Feed on Saturday, October 5 starting at 6 p.m. in celebration of Susan taking over the bar’s ownership. See the advertisement in this week’s PCN.

Malta Food Bank Elections

10-8. The Malta Food Bank will hold elections for a board member position on October 8, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the Malta Senior Center.

RSA meeting

10-15. The Ranchers Stewardship Alliance has a change of date for their October meeting. The meeting will be on Tuesday, October 15, at 6 p.m. in the Malta Business Center. All are welcome.

American Legion Auxiliary meeting

10-10. The American Legion Auxiliary meeting scheduled for October 3 has been rescheduled to October 10, at VFW Club. Dues are now due.

Public Square Rosary

10-12. The Public Square Rosary Crusade and Rally will be held Saturday, October 12, at 12 p.m. at Front Street Veteran's Memorial Park. Please join us in praying for our nation.

Hi-Line Heritage Celebration

10-12. On Saturday, October 12, the Hi-Line Heritage Celebration will be held in Malta as a fundraiser for the Livestock Association. The day will include music, free food, silent auction, ranch roping, and more all at the Milk River Pavilion starting at 10 a.m. with the evening fundraiser set to start at 5 p.m.

Milk River Gospel Mini Jamboree

10-13. The Milk River Gospel Mini Jamboree will be Sunday, October 13, at 3 p.m., at the Malta High School Auditorium, featuring local church groups and Ken Overcast, free will offering meal afterwards.

Montana Veterans Affairs

10.17. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, October 17, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.
