On October 8, the winner of Whist at the Malta Senior Center was Leonard Leader. Tied for second was Ken Ruzicka and Sherman Doucette while the traveling prize was awarded to Clarence Jacobson.

On October 10, Clair Waters racked-up 7,410 points to earn first-place honors while Leonard Leader and Harvey Smith tied for second after both compiling 5,880. The traveling prize was awarded to both Clair and Von Holzhey.
