Malta construction updates with David Veseth November 6, 2019

November 6, 2019

At the new National Guard Armory being built near the Phillips County Hospital, they have put up the new walls for the building, some look like concrete and other look like bricks. This work took place the middle of the second to last week in October.

Construction on the private house near the MOI Group Home continues where the workers are putting up the walls for the expansion of the house.

Over at the MOI, skylights have been installed near the back of the building and it really brightens the place up. One of the skylights is near the industrial washing machines the clients use at MOI.

Over at the Villa Theatre, a tree was trimmed near the buildings apartment because the branches where getting very close to the building and stairs leading to the apartment. I have heard that the Villa will re-open on November 8 and will be showing the 2019 computer-animated movie the Addams Family. See this week’s PCN for more information on the theatre’s reopening. I hope to attend the movie on the 8th. A month ago I got to help remove old seats out of the Villa that were worn out and I am looking forward to seeing the new seats.
