Malta Schools host free dinner and childcare ahead of 'Love & Logic' seminar

If the idea of getting your children to do chores without a ensuing battle, avoid un-winnable arguments, and stay sane in the process?

If so, Malta Public Schools have just the presentation for you on Monday, January 27, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Malta High School Cafeteria with a free dinner to be followed by “Love and Logic Parenting,” a program started by the The Love and Logic Institute 40 years ago which is dedicated to making parenting and teaching fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic.

There will be free childcare provided on the night and parents, grandparents, and educators are encouraged to attend.

Peggy Perry and Marilyn Granell will be teaching the Love and Logic method of parenting on the night.

This approach was developed for Jim Fay and Dr. Jim Cline and has been used effectively for 25-plus years. “Sounds easy enough but never before in history have parents been faced with so many challenges,” the Love and Logic website reads. “Whether you’re embarking for the first time with your new baby or navigating the turbulent teens with your youngest, our strategies and techniques will help you create calm and loving solutions.”

Malta Public Schools invites everyone out to join them for some fun, laughter, dinner and night out and in the process learn some easy practical parenting techniques that work for children birth through adults.
