Spencer Gibbs was chosen as Malta's "Westler of the Week," after having a 5-2 outing last week.
The Malta Wrestling team rebounded this week after having a rough first weekend of 2020.
"We are getting better," Malta Head Coach Steve French said.
The team faired well at the Fairfield Mixer on Thursday, January 16, going 11-5. Callan Mears, Kendall Moore, Camryn Mears, and Spencer Gibbs each went undefeated, posting 2-0 records at the event.
The team then traveled to the Choteau Classic for the two-day tournament that started on Friday, January 17 and concluded on Saturday, January 18.
