The City of Malta will conduct a public hearing February 11, 2020 at 5:05pm in the council chambers of city hall. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning Resolution 1281, A Resolution authorizing the participation in the board of investments of the state of Montana annual adjustable rate tender option municipal finance consolidation act bonds (intercap revolving program), approving the form and terms of the loan agreement and authorizing the execution and delivery of documents related thereto. Relating to $221,081.00 Garbage Fund Intercap Loan for a new garbage truck. Request for Proposal (RFP)

For Appraisal Services

The Fort Belknap Indian Community (FBIC) is soliciting proposals from certified general appraisers to conduct appraisals services on Indian Trust Lands to be used for Land Sales and Land Exchanges on the Fort Belnap Reservation.

Please submit your specialized skills, credentials and background information and express an interest in conducting appraisals for the FBIC. Please indicate your cost per appraisal.

Applicant must be a certified licensed appraiser in good standing with the State of Montana and must comply with (USPAP) Uniform Standards of Professional Practice. List pertinent qualifications to appraise land on Indian lands. Must know all of the requirements and regulations regarding the process of conducting and completing appraisals on Indian Land.

Under this proposal the contractor will produce written appraisal reports that conform to Bureau of Indian Affairs guidelines. The contractor will provide all appraisal related services to the Tribe.

Applications must include a list of qualifications specialized skills, credentials and background information, including qualifications to and experience in appraisals of Indian trust land. Applications must include a cost schedule for appraisals.

The recipient must supply a statement that the consulting firm presently has no interest and shall not have any interest, direct or indirect, which would conflict in any manner with the performane of the services contemplated by the agreement. No person having such interest shall be employed by or associated with consultant during the term of this agreement.

This is to notify all interested parties that the PHILLIPS TRANSIT AUTHORITY is applying for $144,015.00 under the Montana Department of Transportation’s Operating Grant Program 5311. Funding will be used for operating expenses associated with providing transportation services to the general public, elderly and persons with disabilities within Phillips County.

The Capital Assistance Grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. FTA funds will be used to purchase 2 – 13 passenger regular floor buses.

RESOLUTION REGARDING PROPERTY ABANDONED, OBSOLETE,

UNDESIRABLE OR UNSUITABLE FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES OF THE

DISTRICT

The Trustees of School District No. 12 A & B have determined that the following real and personal property of the district, located at 321 Hwy 243, Saco, Montana, is obsolete, unsuitable or not needed any longer for school purposes of School District No. 12 A & B.

Town site, S08, T31 N, R34, Block 006, LOTS 14A, 15, 16, & 17 (All buildings on the property are included)

The subject property is obsolete, unsuitable or not needed any longer for school purposes.

As provided in § 20-6-604, MCA, the Trustees of School District No. 12 A & B hereby resolve to sell or dispose of the property identified above.

The Trustees of School District No. 12 A & B further resolve that notices of the resolution shall be published on January 22nd, 2020 and January 29th, 2020, in the Phillips County News newspaper.

This resolution shall become effective 14 days after publication of the second notice identified in the immediately preceding paragraph, unless appealed to the district court by a taxpayer in compliance with and as provided in § 20-6-604, MCA.
