On January 28, Nina Jones outpaced Clarence Blunt by 2, 45-43, for top honors while Nina’s effort also earned her the traveling prize.
Whist at the MSC
On January 30, Von Holzhey notched a score of 7,660 to take first and Sharon Emond was second with 7,110, The traveling prize on the day went to both Clair Waters and Sharon.
On February 4, Al Kroll outpaced the rest of the crowd by scoring 5,950 and second went to Barb Stevens and her 5,600 total. The traveling prize went the Kevin Stevens.
One final score was given for a contest at the Senior Center at which Leonard Leader was first, Al Kroll second and the traveling prize was split by Clair and Kevin. No scores or game name provided.
Malta Duplicate Bridge
Monday, February 3, saw Cathy Salsbery and Madelyn Anderson capture first place. Marla Sisco and Bob Maxie tied with Margo Rush and Kerry Faaborg for second.
