Construction News for February 12, 2020

Last week I attended the Malta Kiwanis meeting, I got to hear from Pastor Bob Nagy about some of the equipment that workers are using to move the home having a basement to and from its foundation. The house – located by the Phillips County Courthouse – is having some new walls built. If they start moving the house back into the foundation, I will try to get over to watch the work and take photographs of it.

Last night, Tuesday, February 4, I was with the Malta Kiwanis Club and we got to go visit the newly opened MOI Thrift Center at the newly renovated MOI building (the laundromat next door to the store has been open for a few months.) It is different than the last store because it is bigger and more organized than the last store.
