Linda Grayce (Coates) Mingneau

Linda Grayce (Coates) Mingneau passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, with her family at her side. Linda was born in Shelby Mont., on March 22nd, 1944 to Grayce & Edmond (Hick) Coates. Her Dad was in the Army stationed in New Geunia and did not meet her until she was four months old.

Linda attended school kindergarten through Senior in Shelby Mont. Her class was the first class to graduate in the new high school.

On August 28th, 1962, she married Leonard Mingneau in Salmon, Idaho. They lived in Shelby until May 1963 when they moved to Conrad and their daughter Kimberly Grayce was born.

Linda worked at St. Mary's hospital in Conrad as a practical nurse and X-ray assistant. In 1968, they moved to Malta and son Kent Lee was born in 1969.

Linda worked at Phillips County Hospital as a practical nurse and X-ray assistant and finally went to school and received her x-ray tech license.

In 1969 Linda and Leonard started their own business, L & L Meats, and later expanded it to include Kountry Market & Deli. Linda was well known for her homemade soups and salads and she catered many weddings and events along with her daughter, Kimberly.

In 2014, she and Leonard divorced, and Linda worked as a para-professional in Malta at Dodson Schools and also a senior companion at Malta Boys & Girls Club.

Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life. She enjoyed making cookies and banana bread for them. She was famous for her gumdrop cookies that her family loved during the holidays! Her faith, family, and friends were the highlights of her life!

She is survived by daughter and son in law Alan and Kimberly Guderjahn, son and daughter in law Kent and Tammy Mingneau, granddaughters Amanda (Jerry) Benge, Ahmber Mingneau, grandsons Matthew (Katee) Guderjahn, Ryan (Natalie) Mingneau, Troy Mingneau. Great-grand children Gavin, Henry, J.D. and Emily Benge, Ellie and Brady Guderjahn, Rylie Mingneau, and special people in her life included Sandy Wagner, Helen Guderjahn, Marie Nelson and Myrtle Hould, all of her Birthday Club gals, and also numerous cousins that were like her siblings; Mark Roath, Florence McKenzie, Gloria Sivertson, Marilyn Niblett, and the Parker family.

A private family service was held with the internment of ashes to be on a later date.
