February 19, 2020

3:07 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

10:10 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputies responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

February 20, 2020

12:47 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

7:47 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported missing and damaged signs on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:19 a.m. Undersheriff reported he had spoken to individuals with a vehicle without seats; individuals advised the vehicle would have to be towed, not driven.

10:27 a.m. 911 received reporting a two-vehicle accident on Stage Road south of Malta; no injuries to the occupants; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

2:27 p.m. Male reported lost property off of Hwy 191 south of Malta; information passed onto Deputies; property located the next day and returned to the owner.

6:16 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to Malta High School for the basketball games.

11:37 p.m. 911 received requesting a male be removed from a Dodson residence; Deputies responded to the call; male removed from the residence; case file started.

February 21, 2020

12:37 a.m. Deputy requested an ambulance for a female with a possibly broken foot; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

2:41 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to Malta High School for the basketball games.

4:28 p.m. 911 received requesting a female be removed from a Dodson residence; Deputy responded to the call; female had left the location on her own accord before Deputy’s arrival.

5:08 p.m. Malta City employee advised PCSO of water standing, and slowly receding, from the intersection of 5th Ave/9th St E; information passed onto Deputies.

5:38 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on a friend at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay.

6:07 p.m. Anonymous reported two vehicles blocking a fire hydrant near MHS; Deputy responded to the call; owners located and advised to move the vehicles.

6:35 p.m. Male reported water flooding on the intersection of 5th Ave/9th St W; caller advised the City was aware of it.

8:19 p.m. Female requested law enforcement to remove an intoxicated male from her residence; Deputies and Reserve Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:36 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Whitewater, Loring and Port of Morgan areas.

8:43 p.m. Deputy and Reserve Deputy transported one adult male to the PC Hospital for a mental evaluation.

9:29 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Saco area.

9:49 p.m. Ft Belknap LE received a request for a welfare check on two individuals at a local apartment for a possible domestic situation; Deputy and Sheriff responded to the call; individuals not located at the local residence.

10:30 p.m. Deputies transported one adult male, Joseph Webb, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Partner/Family Member Assault and Disorderly Conduct charges.

February 22, 2020

2:30 a.m. Male reported a suspicious person banging on his door; Deputy responded to the call; individual located and removed from the area; case file started.

2:42 a.m. Male reported someone had been in his house; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

3:08 a.m. Female reported lots of kids running around and through her yard; Deputies responded to the call; information added to existing case file.

11:28 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/pole accident in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; NorthWestern Energy advised of the damaged pole; case file started.

1:27 p.m. Deputy released one adult male, Joseph Webb, from PCSO Jail on bond.

1:45 p.m. Individuals requested a civil standby at a local residence so the building could be boarded up and locks changed; Deputy handled the call.

2:40 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the high school for the basketball tournament.

6:00 p.m. Female reported a strange vehicle parked in her driveway off of Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle left upon Deputy arrival.

6:44 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

February 23, 2020

12:12 a.m. Deputy received a report of a suspicious vehicle in a residential neighborhood; all found to be okay and the vehicle left the area without further incident.

2:53 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9pm tonight until 5am Tuesday for all of Phillips Co.

9:41 a.m. Undersheriff responded to a residence in the Wagner area for a Civil standby.

10:39 a.m. Male reported his vehicle had “been egged”; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

1:44 p.m. Male reported the coin operated water dispenser was not working; information passed onto City employee.

2:12 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9pm tonight until 5am Tuesday for all of Phillips Co.

2:47 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a female who was “threatening” the caller at a residence south of Malta; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; female removed from the location without further incident and taken to another residence.

3:51 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance at a local residence for a female who fell; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient refused transport to the PC Hospital.

7:30 p.m. PC hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:54 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5am Tuesday.

February 24, 2020

2:30 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

3:03 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5am Tuesday.

8:20 a.m. Female reported a damaged sign on Hwy 191 north; Undersheriff, Fish & Game Warden and MT Dept of Transportation responded to the call; case file started.

2:12 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5am Tuesday.

4:19 p.m. Male reported the bridges on the Saco flats were drifting in with snow; information passed onto MT Dept of Transportation.

4:46 p.m. Female reported Hwy 2 to Saco was icy; caller advised a plow had been sent out.

8:34 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory is canceled.

9:21 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for juveniles locked in Trafton Park; Deputy and City employee handled the call.

February 25, 2020

2:02 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

5:43 a.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident just south of Malta; deer was still alive; Deputy responded to the call; deer located and humanely euthanized; white form issued.

7:40 a.m. Female reported a dog without food and water at her neighbor’s residence; ACO handled the call.

9:30 a.m. Male reported a fraudulent vehicle purchase through a social media site; Sheriff handled the call.

10:15 a.m. PC hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

11:13 a.m. Reserve Deputy transported one adult male, Lyle Stiffarm, from Valley Co Detention Center to PCSO for a District Court appearance.

2:23 p.m. Male reported theft from a bank account; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

3:40 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Lyle Stiffarm, from PCSO Jail on own recognizance.

3:48 p.m. 911 received reporting the caller had found a dead body on the reservation; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE; Ft Belknap later requested PCSO assistance with this call; coroner case file started.

4:04 p.m. Female reported a break-in to a family member’s residence south of Zortman; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:19 p.m. Female requested assistance with delivering an emergency message to a local resident; Deputy handled the call.

9:18 p.m. Female reported the dog without food and water left outside was still outside with no food or water; Deputy handled the call.

February 26, 2020

2:01 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

1:30 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to the Havre hospital; local EMT Crew handled the call.

6:12 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from a male that took them; Deputies and Reserve Deputy handled the call.

9:48 p.m. Female reported a possibly missing person; Deputy responded to the call; female found to be staying with a friend and was okay.

11:04 p.m. Female reported an animal in distress near a local business; ACO advised of the call and advised the location is not in the City limits; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and dog returned.

11:10 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

February 27, 2020

12:41 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the high school for tournament coverage.

12:52 p.m. Female reported a two-vehicle accident in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

2:16 p.m. Male reported a female trying to flag traffic down in the Dodson area; Deputy responded to the call; female located, advised she had lost her keys and later located them.

3:24 p.m. Female requested an ambulance for a male who fell and was bleeding from his head at a residence south of Malta; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; male transported to the PC Hospital.

3:34 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on a local female; Deputies responded to the call; female transported to the PC Hospital for a mental evaluation.

6:00 p.m. Reserve Deputies reported to the high school for tournament coverage.

6:16 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the high school for tournament coverage.

8:00 p.m. Valley Co Detention Center advised they released one adult male, Clayton Youngbear, on bond paid.

February 28, 2020

10:09 a.m. Female reported a large pothole full of water that is hard to see on the canal bridge on 5th Ave east; information passed onto City and County employees.

11:59 a.m. Male reported a phone scam.

12:35 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the high school for tournament coverage.

5:40 p.m. Reserve Deputy reported to MHS for tournament coverage.

6:04 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the high school for tournament coverage.

7:01 p.m. Male reported an injured deer near the Border Patrol office; Deputies responded to the call; deer located and humanely euthanized.

8:24 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; business called shortly after the report to advise they came back and paid.

8:25 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a medical emergency at the high school; Sheriff, Deputies and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

8:51 p.m. Female reported a male and female “cussing” and “threw a cigarette” at a juvenile; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.
