Vacant school board seat in Malta as deadline nears

As the deadline to file for one of the two seats up for election on the Malta School Board rapidly approaches — Thursday, March 26 is the final day — only incumbent Kevin Koss has filed for election leaving the school board with one more seat to fill.

Koss and Levi Tatafu are the two trustees who are up for reelection in the mail-only, May 5, 2020 election and both seats are for three-year terms. Koss and Tatafu were voted onto the Malta Public School’s Board of Trustees in May of 2017 and replaced RJ Tollefson and Doug Ost (who finished out Gaelen Curtis’ term.)
