Loring News for March 25, 2020

Even with this horrible coronavirus making life different for most of us, it is reassuring that nature's cycles are right on target! Yes, the moon continues to go from new, crescent, half, gibbous, and full and the back again! The sun is traveling north, temps are warmer, migrating birds are returning to their summer range, and soon the prairies will be colorful with grass and wildflowers!

The birds that I've seen this week are lots of Hawks, bald eagles (four), snowy owl, yes, it's still here. Also, the Bohemian waxwings have been reported in some of the juniper bushes and Russian olives,...
